Advanced Search Is Now on Stocktwits

Come rain or shine, the Stocktwits community shares over 200,000 messages per day. That includes charts, news, trade ideas, and yes — lots of memes. With that many messages, it can be hard to look back in time to see your best posts about your favorite stocks from months or even years ago.

Today, we’re changing that and releasing Stocktwits Advanced Search.

How To Use Advanced Search

Advanced Search is available to everyone across all platforms. To get started on the Stocktwits apps for iOS or Android, navigate to any of your favorite ticker streams and find the “Search My Messages — Go” box or the magnifying glass on any message posted. Everyone has unlimited access to search their own messages, but only Stocktwits Plus subscribers will be able to filter ALL messages across the Stocktwits platform by month and go back as far as they please.

If you’re on Stocktwits web, you can still use Advanced Search on your desktop. Log in to your account and find the magnifying glass on any $TICKER page, individual message, or your own profile. From there, you can start your search to find old and fascinating messages related to any stock.

We believe Advanced Search will improve your ability to extract value from your Stocktwits experience. We’re excited to see what everyone discovers. Basic functionality, like unlimited searching of your own messages, is available to all members of the Stocktwits community. Stocktwits Plus members will have full access, which means they are able to search and filter all messages by month and go beyond their own shares.

For those who have not tried Stocktwits Plus, a monthly subscription fee of $7.99 will get you full access to Advanced Search, Dark Mode, no ads, and a unique Plus badge next to your profile at all times. If you’re already a member of Stocktwits Plus, you don’t have to do anything — Advanced Search will be available to you today.
