Tweetdeck Update

Beginning today, there will be changes to StockTwits access on TweetDeck. You will still be able to pull up the All, Suggested and Commentary streams, but the Friends Stream and the Porfolio Stream will not be available.

This is due to our move away from a Twitter based authentication process and to a new StockTwits accounts/API authentication.  We are making this change to be able to provide our users with a more robust feature set in the future.  You can view some of these new features such as Preset Sector Streams, on the new StockTwits website.  This should only be temporary and we are actively working alongside Tweetdeck to bring these new features to you in the very near future.

Of course, you can still post to StockTwits from TweetDeck just as you always have. Make sure you are following @StockTwits, then simply use the StockTwits $ tags as usual.

You can access all of our streams on both the StockTwits Desktop and the new StockTwits Website.  In addition to having access to the classic streams, we are making many new ones available to you.  You are now able to create multiple ticker based watchlists as well as a huge variety of preset streams which filter for equity sectors as well as multiple asset classes.

We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and anticipate a quick resolution.  If you have any questions regarding these changes, please feel free to call us at the StockTwits Help Desk at 1-888-STK-TWIT or email us at support@stocktwits.com.
