StockTwits Poker Tournament for Charity

When Joey Fundora (who most of you know as @downtowntrader) came to us with the idea of doing a poker tournament for the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance we immediately thought this was a great idea. Our community loves to compete and this is a good cause.

So we are very pleased to announce the First StockTwits Poker Tournament for Charity on Sunday October 25 at 6:30 Eastern!!

Joey writes,

“Stocktwits, in collaboration with Doyle Brunson’s Poker Network are hosting an online poker tournament for charity in support of the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance. The Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance is an organization dedicated to finding a cure for tuberous sclerosis while improving the lives of those affected. Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form in many different organs, primarily in the brain, eyes, heart, kidneys, liver, skin and lungs. The tournament was organized by Joey Fundora of Downtowntrader.com and will be structured so that half of each players entrance fee will be donated to the TS Alliance as a charitable contribution.”

In addtion to the prize structure outlined in Joey’s announcement, we will also have Bounty so that if you knock out @HowardLindzon, not only do you get bragging rights, but you get StockTwits Shwag to boot!
