StockTwits Is Hiring an Accountant Plus

StockTwits is hiring a full time accountant (+ more) in San Diego to take responsibility for A/R, A/P, monthly financials, payroll, benefits, reporting and various special projects. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will offer the opportunity for the right individual to take on a wide range of responsibilities – ranging from accounting entries to assisting in preparing forecasts and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role in a fast growing start-up
  • 3-5 years experience as bookkeeper or accountant (CPA not required) with broad responsibilities
  • Quickbooks and Excel pro
  • Analytical and technical skills, ability to handle regular reporting duties with minimal supervision
  • Good communications skills and comfort handling customer inquires via phone and email for billing, A/R and A/P
  • Great team member who builds positive relationships with co-workers while getting things done
