Morning Preview: Comcast, Netflix and McDonald’s Earnings On StockTwits

Today’s Tuesday morning preview is once again all about earnings on StockTwits. More than 300 companies report earnings this week including names like Visa, Ford, McDonald’s, Apple, Facebook, Amazon and many more. Here are the 3 earnings reports everyone is talking about right now:

1.) Comcast ($CMCSA) reported earnings this morning and for the quarter they posted EPS of $0.68 and revenue of $17.41 billion. Both were sizable beats compared to the Wall Street consensus:

$CMCSA reports Q1 EPS of $0.68 versus the estimated $0.64, beating by $0.04. EPS were Up 33% from the same quarter last year.

2.) Netflix ($NFLX) reported earnings yesterday. We even put together a post detailing what some of the smartest investors and traders on StockTwits were saying about it. Today, $NFLX is still trending. In-fact as of this writing it is the top trending ticker. Nearly every major analyst has come out with a bullish note about NFLX earnings and sentiment and message volume is jumping:

3.) McDonald’s ($MCD) is roughly $3 away from a new all-time high and today’s earnings report may not help them get any closer to taking that high out. $MCD reported EPS of $1.21 and revenue of $6.7 billion. Both numbers missed Wall Street’s estimates. But at least global comps were up:
