For Traders and Investors, many of us started our day for what feels like decades with CNBC Anchor Mark Haines. When there was news to be broken, a hard-hitting interview, or even a laugh to be had, it was often Mr. Haines who delivered time and time again. And nobody will forget his steady presence during the events of September 11, 2001.
We at StockTwits send our deepest condolences to Mr. Haines’ family, friends, and CNBC colleagues. Mark is one of the great ones, and everyone who has an interest in the markets will miss his insight.
Several members of the StockTwits Blog Network also expressed their well wishes today:
From Jeff Carter, Points and Figures
From Josh Brown, The Reformed Broker
From Eddy Elfenbein Crossing Wall Street
CNBC will be airing a special program in Mark Haines’ honor this evening at 7pm Eastern. Please tune in.
