Today, StockTwits launches Chart.ly!
We’ve been finding that a growing number of our best technical traders post their excellent charts to our stream in a variety of ways.
So we wanted to create a product that is catered especially to them to make it as easy as possible to get their charts up for others to see and comment on, to make these charts look great and to provide a simple way to archive charts sorted by stock ticker.
We collaborated with Pallian Creative’s founder Adarsh Dilip who built the application and he reports that an on site charting tool is about 10 days away. What this means is that StockTwits users will be able to draw charts right on the site and will not even have to upload their own (although of course they will still be able to if they prefer).
This will be insanely cool.
Mobile functionality is coming as early as this evening so you will be able to upload and view charts via your mobile device.
We are loving Chart.ly, simply, because we think it will make the StockTwits user experience more awesome.
