But when you do buy and hold the right stocks, incredible wealth can be made. In this post, we are going to show you two examples of that. They seem obvious now, but when they went public in 1997 and 2004 their success was not obvious to see. There were competitors all around.
These two companies are Amazon and Google. At the time of this writing, $10,000 in Amazon at its IPO would be worth over $4.5 million today. The same kind of returns can been seen for Google. On StockTwits, @MktOutperform recently shared two things that capture the essence of this.
